Course description: This course provides an introduction into the Lebesgue theory of real functions and measures.


  • Abstract theory of measure and integration.
  • Borel measures, the Riesz representation theorem, the Lebesgue measure.
  • Lp spaces.
  • Decomposition theorems of Lebesgue and Radon-Nikodym (if time permits).
