held in our school building (address: Bethlen Gábor tér 2, Room 100)

and the academic orientation session

held the same morning, at the same address, ie

on September 9th   (Monday) 8:00 AM, Room 102


Please note that your participation in the academic orientation session is absolutely necessary!

During the academic orientation session we cover all basic information regarding your academic life during the next semester, while at the Welcome Party you will have a chance to meet most of your professors for the first time and discuss details of the forthcoming classes, or simply ask questions.
As the room may change the last minute, please look for the signs inside the Bethlen tér building

Courses will start in the same building on September 10th (Monday) morning at 10:15, i.e. right after the orientation.

The (brief) calendar of the semester is as follows:

Pre semester important dates

August 21st (We), Hungarian language course starts
August 21th (We), 12:30 pm Practical orientation for those who are already in Budapest; see language school schedule
Sept 1st (Sun), Pre-registration data is due (questionnaire will be sent out by Aug 23rd)
Sept 5th (Thu), Hungarian language course ends.
Sept 5th (Thu), 12:30pm Practical orientation II, for Hungarian language course participants.
September 7th (Sat), 1:30pm Make-up practical orientation at BSM (at Bethlen Gabor Square 2; for those who did not take the language course)
September 7th (Sat), 4pm Living in Budapest ("hands-on city experience tour")

Comments:
  1. October 23rd Wednesday is a National Holiday in Hungary and the 21-22nd are also off, resulting in a long weekend for October 19-23.
  2. November 1st, Friday is a National Holiday, resulting in a long weekend for November 1-3.
  3. The Friday (Nov 29th) following Thanksgiving is also off, resulting in a long weekend Nov 28-Dec 1.
